Animaniacs Reboot showrunner Wellesley Wild and co-executive producer Gabe Swarr were joined by Rob Paulsen, Jess Harnell, Tress MacNeille and Maurice LaMarche to talk about working on the new series and to premiere the cold opening of the first episode! Joey, Nathan and Kelly talk about the highlights of the panel, read some of the script shown on screen, and talk about what they liked and didn't like about the animation footage that was shown. Some anxiety about a show "packed" with jokes is also discussed.
Recently the Animaniacs reboot production team sat down to talk at the Ottawa International Animation Festival about the upcoming show! Join Joey as he shares clips from the panel, shares his opinion on what was said and hear from some other animators who share some of their thoughts and concerns over the upcoming reboot.
Animaniacs Reboot showrunner Wellesley Wild and co-executive producer Gabe Swarr were joined by Supervising Character Designer Genevieve Tsai and Art Director Roman Laney to talk about how they came about creating new designs for the Warners and what the process was like for writing the show and creating new music. The panel showcased lots of great concept art and some new backgrounds of the Warner lot and ACME Labs.
While some of the information on the panel sounds promising, Joey does share some reservations about how the show producers were picked.
